Technology, Business Development, and Sales – Associate – Houston

The Entoro Group is a boutique investment banking group, dedicated to creating the premier alternative investment ecosystem globally. We consist of an investment bank, US broker-dealer, transfer agent, registered investment advisor, commodity pool operator, valuation services, proprietary funds, and an environmental asset authenticator, registry, and exchange. We focus on raising capital or creating products that are unique and available to an international clientele of family offices, foundations, endowments, institutional and direct investors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·   Create revenue opportunities by mastering both Capturiant and OfferBoard technologies and platforms

·   Junior portfolio manager of carbon credits for GreenShield Offsets programs

·   Liaise with external development team(s) to ensure continued improvements to the Capturiant platform and associated technologies.

·   Review the technical and scientific documentation of carbon credit projects and provide feedback to the Head of Business Development and other senior team members.

·   Make outbound sales calls to potential clients, in-person meetings, and emails

·   Manage client carbon portfolios leveraging proprietary diversification and risk management strategies

·   Work with the Certification, Validation, and Verification teams to ensure that platforms (Microsoft Dynamics) are accurate to create visibility on project/review status, forecasting, and current operational capacity.

·   Support the Validation team in regular spot checks of project reviews.

·   Participate in the daily stand-ups, and weekly discussions with the Validation teams to ensure that tasks are complete and up to date, and any bottlenecks are surfaced in time.

·   Support the Validation in preparation of relevant reports such as pipeline updates as and when required.

·   Interface with global clients and franchisees on registry, platform and technology issues.

 

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

·   Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·   Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent in a STEM field, computer science or hard business degree (finance or accounting).

·   Attention to detail, thoroughness, and sound judgment of key issues.

·   Commitment and ability to meet all deadlines and to quickly respond to priority issues.

·   Comfort in an extraverted, client-facing role (tested).

·   Ability to quickly establish a baseline understanding of new technologies.

·   Familiarity with financial risk management strategies.

·   Customer-focus and client service mindset with ability to communicate efficiently and clearly with colleagues, peers, and clients.

·   Good understanding of systems such as Microsoft, Office 365, SharePoint, and Dyanmics (CRM), among others.

·   Ability to work in a multicultural team, being a skillful listener with an open style, and maintaining a positive and supportive attitude at all times.

·   Additional language skills are an advantage.

·   Work non-standard or non-traditional hours

·   Preference to CFA or CAIA candidates.

 

FINRA Licensing:

You are/will be required to be FINRA licensed and registered.  The Associate must obtain their FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 or 66 licenses with Entoro Securities and Entoro Investments, respectively, and obtain the Series 3, commodities license under Entoro Commodifies.  Advancement and preferred opportunities for those that pass the Series 24.

 

Compensation:
